Day 1: THE PITCH with Matt Loads

Learn how to put together a program proposal and pitch for your Show!

Matt Loads has worked across corporate, not for profit and broadcasting in communication roles for ten years and now teaches television production at RMIT University. Matt will take workshop participants through the process of refining ideas and

Day 2: THE PRODUCTION with Brett Ramsay

Long time Producer and Host of the popular car racing program In Pit Lane, Brett Ramsay is a practiced hand at LIVE Studio Television Broadcats.

In his workshop he will cover the art of the callsheet, the budget, the rundown, the schedule and how to find the right cast and crew for your show.

He will go through the process of taking a concept through to completion and work witha production team to create a great quality show. Map to enter RMIT University

                    Accessible entry via 200 Lt Collins.

Ian Dixon will take participants in this workshop through the ins and outs of plot, narrative, character development, voice and forming.

In addition to his work in film, television and theatre, Ian has written two novels and lectures in Filmmaking at the VCA, Melbourne Uni, RMIT and Open Channel.

He has had extensive training as a director on Neighbours and Blue Heelers and his film directing credits include Wee Jimmy(SBS drama),The Raptor Detail(short film) and Cut (VCA major film).
