TRAINING AT GRIT MEDIA

We have run training in TV production and radio production most recently, and we are working with other training providers to deliver and subisdise places for people with disabilties.

TV TRAINING

In December we ran training over a week that resulted in a TV Pilot about the Collingwood Mens Group (see PILOTS). All the trainees were Grit Media members and found out about the training through our enews. While it was a full on few days, all the trainees remarked how fabulous it was (of course), and look forward to seeing the results on the small screen. Our trainers came from yum productions and also from our experienced volunteer group, and training targeting pre-production and production. Most production duties were left with our fabulous editor Peter Johnston.

BACK TO BACK THEATRE SUMMER SCHOOL

We attended Back to Back Theatre Summer School and led four workshops in TV production. It was really concentrated and most participants wanted to be in front of the camera, but those who got behind the camera created some great moments and captured the heart of Summer School. The results of this can also be seen on teh small screen.
