The Committee
|
|
Grit Media is governed by a Committee of Management. Members can nominate for the Committee prior to every Annual General Meeting. Members are advised prior to each Annual General Meeting about how to nominate and when that nomination is due.
Current Committee Members

President/Chairman - Paul Ritchard
Paul lectures in video, film, & TV production in the Media, Professional Communication and Journalism programs at RMIT University. His research is on television consumption and content and digital television technologies.

Treasurer/Public Officer - Colleen Leydon
Colleen is a finance professional with specific expertise in Management Reporting. She would like to focus on aligning some of her passions and interests into her work; in particular, encouraging access to the arts for everyone.

Vice President - Kevin Boyce
One of the new hosts for No Limits in 2011, Kevin believes that all people live with a disability, whether they are blind, in a wheelchair or simply barrack for the Collingwood Football Club.

Gerard Langridge
An accomplished entertainer with a particular interest in clowning, Gerard is one of Grit Media's longest standing Committee Members. He looks forward to continuing his work with Grit Media in 2011 - 2012

Matthew Loads
Matt teaches a variety of media subjects RMIT University. He's worked in a number of capacities in community TV and is passionate about creating better access to the media industry.

Louis Rowe
Having studied business marketing, Louis ventured into the industry of brand licensing and has developed his own brand Hired Goon Records. Recent events have seen Louis develop fundraising strategies for charity projects. Now being a volunteer for the last year with Grit Media he looks to integrate his experience on the board.

Greg Dee
Greg has produced, directed and written TV Programs, and has worked as General Manager of Channel 31. He was also ABC Executive Producer of Art, Entertainment and Comedy Key achievement. He was a key driver, alongside Producer Sarah Barton, in the creation of the successful disability program, No Limits.

Kevin Passmore
Kevin currently works as a Project Manager at NAB and is looking forward to working to ensure that GRIT has a sustainable and long term future. He also has a Masters in Film and Television, and worked on docos, films and has volunteered at Channel 31.

Lindsay Cox
Lindsay works as an independent animator across a variety of Australian television networks, websites, and films. In addition to working as a story editor and creative producer, he is currently working on a surreal comedy TV series pilot involving people with disabilities.

Phineas Meere
In addition to co-hosting No Limits in 2011, Phin has been taking over the airwaves, as one of the long time standing hosts of The Boldness.

Ariane Garner-Williams
Having studied media in VCE, Ariane's role on the board of Grit Media helps to combine two of her passions. She enjoys helping other young people with a disability in her role as a member of the Youth Disability Advocacy Service Steering Committee for the last four years. Ariane is also a Board member of the Cerebral Palsy Support Network.
